XOLO to launch their first 4G smartphone in India

While all Indian mobile brands plan to make something new, XOLO decides to launch its first 4G TD LTE smartphone in association with Bharti Airtel. Airtel plans to launch its voice call facility in this phone by the end of this year. This phone is expected to reach the market around Christmas. XOLO is launching this smart phone at the right time. With the new year coming soon, the sales for this phone is expected to rise.

“We are going to launch our TD LTE device in partnership with Bharti Airtel. Airtel is the bundling partner for XOLO’s 4G TD LTE smartphone. We are the first Indian brand to have TD LTE smartphone in the country. By the end of this month, we will start the shipments of XOLO TD LTE smartphones” said Vikas Sehgal, Co-founder & Director of XOLO to ET Telecom.

Sehgal also said that they will be soon launching many smart phones that will support the TD LTE technology at various prices categories. They are expecting the sales to go upto half a million this quarter. They also estimate that they will gain 10% of the Indian market share of smart phones by end of this quarter.

XOLO is also currently working on windows phone 8.1 and tablets. They will be the first Indian brand to launch windows phone. XOLO will approximately launch this phone by early next quarter. The price of these windows phones and tablets will be similar to the XOLO android devices.
